Welcome to Triratna Buddhist Tamang Society (TBTS)

  Shakyamuni Siddhartha Gautam was born at Lumbini of Nepal. As it is expedient to register an institution holding discussion with the individuals, institution and people of neighborhood having faith on Buddhist religion to spread enlightenment attained by Buddha and his Buddhist philosophy, and to preserve,promote, develop Buddhist religion and propagate Buddhist religion, worship.according to Buddhist religion, give preaching (Deshana) on Buddhist religion,spread widely the glory of Lord Buddha and Buddhist Philosophy, establish the statues of Buddha, reform the religious, cultural, social practice which is being followed since the ancient time according to the time and run it in well managed and effective way, preserve, promote, renovate, develop Buddhist monastery,chaitya, statue, temples, inns and other property with public importance having the historical, religious and archeological importance and preserve them for a longtime with the main objective to bring into the Buddhist Philosophy-“Bahujan Hitaya, Bahujan Sukhaya” (For the happiness of many, for the welfare of many) inday to day practice in the society, so, this constitution was registered on2080/03/20 B.S. (July 5, 2023 A.D.) remaining under Institution Registration Act,2034 B.S. (1977 A.D.) and established the institution named – Triratna Buddhist Tamang Society, 2080 B.S. (2023 A.D.).

The name of this institution shall be M/s Triratna Buddhist Tamang Society. It shall be called Triratna Buddhist Tamang Society in English. In short it may be called the TBTS.
 

This institution shall be an autonomous, corporate body with perpetual succession, a non-profitable, non-political, non-governmental social institution. Except its objective, the institution may not earn and no consultation service with fee or without fee shall be provided.

Objectives of TBTS

The following shall be the objectives of the institution.

  • This institution shall be non-profitable, benevolent, social institution.
  • To spread the Buddhism and Buddhist philosophy propounded by Shakyamuni Siddhartha Gautam who was born at Lumbini of Nepal by preserving, promoting and developing Buddhist religion and to spread Lord Buddha and Buddhist religion.
  • To spread widely about religious activities of Buddhism, teaching of Dharma glory of Lord Buddha and philosophy of Buddha dharma.
  • To construct, preserve, promote, renovate, develop and manage the historical, religious and archeologically important Buddhist monastery. statue, temple, inns and preserve them for a longer period of time and run various programme to bring Buddhist philosophy ‘Bahujan Hitaya, Bahujan Sukhaiya’ (For the happiness of many, for the welfare of many) into practice.
  • To run practical programme to develop the positive thought through the means of yoga, meditation and philosophy and organize national and international level conference, seminar and conference on the subject of Buddhist philosophy.
  • To provide financial and in-kind support to the helpless and deprived people affected by disaster people on behalf of the institution and provide necessary support to the people who are not able to do the treatment due to financial problem.
  • To run different programme and training to encourage entrepreneurship, creativity, productive skill.
